Memory Care Conference: Expert Guidance and Support for Dementia Care

If you are caring for a loved one with dementia or have questions about memory loss, the Memory Care Conference offers expert guidance, practical answers, and meaningful support—all at no cost to attendees.

The second annual Memory Care Conference will take place on Friday, August 14, hosted by We Remember Dementia Ministry in partnership with the Lake Cumberland Christian Medical and Dental Association. This free community event is open to anyone seeking education on dementia care, including caregivers, families, healthcare professionals, and individuals experiencing memory changes.

Event Details

The main conference will be held from 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Oak Hill Baptist Church, with additional morning sessions available at Grace Baptist Church and Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital.

Attendees are welcome to come and go throughout the day. A complimentary coffee bar, snacks, and a free dinner at 5:00 p.m. will be provided.

7:00 p.m.: The Power of Love in Memory Care – Dr. Richard Sams

*Morning sessions begin at 9:00 a.m. and include specialized topics for ministry leaders and healthcare professionals, though all are welcome.

Education, Encouragement, and Resources

Founded by Dr. Dasen Ritchey and Rebecca Ritchey, We Remember Dementia Ministry was created to support families navigating the challenges of dementia care. Their mission is to educate and encourage those caring for individuals with memory loss.

Continuing education credits are available for nurses and medical professionals who attend.

This free dementia care conference in Kentucky provides an opportunity to learn from trusted experts, connect with others, and gain practical tools to better support your loved one.
