Allison Overstreet
Allison grew up in Casey County (Liberty), Kentucky, where her passion for the legal field began early. She spent many summers at the courthouse alongside her father and grandmother, who both served as Circuit Court Clerk during her childhood.
She is a graduate of Eastern Kentucky University, earning a bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice along with a paralegal certificate. Allison brings valuable experience from her time working within the court system, including roles as a deputy clerk, in pre-trial services, and as a Judicial Assistant in the 25th Judicial District.
Allison shares that working at Elder Law Guidance, alongside attorneys such as Scott E. Collins, feels like being part of a family, where team members genuinely support one another’s personal and professional growth. She is proud to be part of Elder Law Guidance’s involvement in the local community – learn more about our team’s work and client education efforts in our educational video library.
She lives in Richmond with her partner, Spencer. Outside of work, Allison enjoys spending time on the tennis court with friends and her parents, and is grateful to share her love of the sport with them.
